BACK TO BACK
THIS FRIDAY ON DEC. 5TH, WE HAVE THE BATTLE FOR BROOKLYN IN DANNY JACOBS VS PETER QUILLIN. NOW, I REALLY WANT DANNY JACOBS TO WIN, AND I THINK IF HE DOES, IT WILL BE BY TKO. I AM NOT A BIG FAN OF "KID CHOCOLATE" PERSONALLY, AND MY WHOLE VIEW ON HIM AS A FIGHTER HAS SORT OF DWINDLED, SINCE THE FIRST TIME I SAW HIM FIGHT. I THINK JACOBS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PUT QUILLIN ON THE CANVAS. BOTH FIGHTERS HAVE SOME INTERESTING SKILLS, BOXING PROWESS, AND PUNCHING POWER, THEREFORE, I SEE THIS AS A MATTER OF WHO LASTS LONGER. I THINK JACOBS, WHOSE BEEN ACTIVE DURING QUILLIN'S LAYOFF, HAS THE BETTER CONDITIONING. ALSO, JACOBS FOUGHT TOUGHER COMPETITION ON HIS WAY TO THE TITLE HE EARNED. MEANWHILE, AFTER THE ANDY LEE FIGHT, WHICH WAS CALLED A DRAW (I THINK QUILLIN GOT LUCKY), HE TOOK TIME OFF, CAME BACK FOR A TUNE UP AGAINST A RELATIVELY UNKNOWN FIGHTER AND IS NOW STEPPING UP TO JACOBS. I THINK JACOBS, CAN, AND WILL WIN. QUILLIN, IS A TALENTED BOXER, BUT, I'M NOT SURE HE HAS THE HEART TO BEAT JACOBS. IF QUILLIN IS ABLE TO SQUEEZE OUT A WIN, IT'LL BE VIA DECISION, AND POSSIBLY A GIFT DECISION.
THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY ON DEC. 12TH I WILL BE AT UNION PARK DALLAS, 1311 MAIN ST., DALLAS, TX 75202 (NO COVER BTW) TAKING IN THE TUNES THE HOMIE MANNY FRESH, WILL BE SPINNIN, AND ROOTING FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST, JOSE ALDO. I KNOW MANY OF THOSE OUT THERE, WILL BE RIDING THE HYPE TRAIN REAL HARD, AND THINKING MCGREGOR WILL WIN. I DON'T THINK THIS WILL HAPPEN. LET'S PUT ASIDE THE SHENANIGANS FOR A SECOND. "HEY WHAT'S THE NAME OF THAT RESTAURANT, WITH ALL THE GOOFY SHIT ON THE WALLS?", "SHENANIGANS?", "OOOOOHHHHHHH". ANYWAY, LET'S LOOK AT THIS FIGHT, AS A FIGHT, AND NOT SOME BIG TELEVISION DRAMA. ALDO, IS A BEAST, AND HAS BEEN FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW. HE DEVISTATES HIS COMPETITION WITH HIS STRIKING ABILITY. MCGREGOR, RECENTLY POPPED UP ON THE SCENE, AND IN HIS LAST FIGHT WAS TAGGED MULTIPLE TIMES, BY MENDES. ONE OF THOSE PUNCHES, ALMOST DROPPED HIM. CONOR, IS VERY HITABLE, AND HIS FIGHTING STYLE IS VERY OPEN, BECAUSE HE LIKES TO THROW KICKS. THE PROBLEM, WITH THIS, IS THAT HIS HANDS ARE USUALLY DOWN AND IT'LL BE BASIC TARGET PRACTICE FOR ALDO. ALDO, FOUGHT MENDES, AND BEAT HIS ASS LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO, TWICE. IF MENDES HADN'T GASSED AGAINST MCGREGOR, WE MIGHT'VE BEEN LOOKING AT ALDO VS MENDES 3. I'M ALL THE WAY ALDO ONE THIS ONE, AND GIVEN THE DISRESPECT SHOWN LEADING UP TO THE FIGHT THE FIRST GO AROUND, MCGREGOR MIGHT BE IN GRAVE PHYSICAL DANGER. - 925
